Trying not to fall asleep at my desk.

I am unmotivated at work. I was given 10lbs of shit in a 5lbs bag and told to make it shine. It is impressive how poorly this was managed before handed to me. I am just sitting here confused as to where to begin.
I also have homework as 2 new classes started this week. I need to work out. I need to sleep.

Same.
I’ve already had plenty of coffee, but like most of my people, I’ve basically become immune to it.
Good night, I guess?

Switch to a standing desk. It makes it harder to fall asleep. And if you do, instant workers comp!

The guy in the office next to me got one of those. Lasted a few weeks. As much as I want to stand, even I wouldn’t get one of those if I could use it.

I’ve been using one for several years now. Without a big, bulky office chair, i have so much more room for activities!

It just seems like it would be so distracting, but if it’s working for you, then it’s nice to have the space. I don’t keep a bulky chair anyway.

Yeah, I admit, it’s a bit weird to adjust to, but it works well for me. It actually reduced my fidgeting a bit, and it makes it really hard to fall asleep at my desk. No lie. I stoop a lot when I sit, because I suck, so standing is nice for that, too.
